I'm Ready to Start Looking
So, you are ready to start looking at homes!!!! Most often, this means that you are either just curious about what is out there & have not yet been pre-approved for a loan or you are pre-approved and ready to start looking and make an offer.
For those of you not yet pre-approved, please feel free to use this search feature to begin to educate yourself about what is available in different areas and different price ranges. We can not encourage you enough, to get your loan in place and have your pre-approval letter in hand, before actually going out & looking at homes. This is important for 2 key reasons:
- Only look at the properties that fit within your purchase price. Don’t disappoint yourself by getting your heart set on a property that you can not afford. This means knowing your loan limits and also choosing a payment amount that you are comfortable with.
- Sellers will rarely accept an offer without a pre-approval letter. The Seller wants to be assured that you can actually close on the purchase of their home before they accept your offer.
For those of you who are pre-approved, we also invite you to use this search feature. In addition to the searches that you do, as your Real Estate Agent, we will also be building a search for you directly in the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS). This is a service created for the exclusive use of Real Estate Agents. Every property must be listed in the NWMLS, as soon as a listing agreement is created between any Seller and any Agent. ALL of the search sites (no matter which site you are using) including ours, pull their information from the NWMLS.
We will work hand in hand with you, to create the NWMLS search and monitor properties that are available which may work for you. We will also take you to see the properties that you are interested in. When you find the property that you would like to make an offer on we will assist you in determining value, writing up your offer & negotiating in your best interest.
